Meet Mike Diana at age 20- self-publishing a comic book with a circulation of 300 copies, mostly through mail orders. Trouble looms over him because of his art. While living in Florida, he's charged and found guilty of obscenity for his comic book work. In the history of the United States, Mike was the only artist (of any kind- not just comics) to be charged and convicted of obscenity. I have the honor of bringing two roles to life in this play: The Psychiatrist and Theresa, a church lady. - Separate, Together - A student film by Emily Walker. The story of one couple's complicated relationship as they navigate the ending and new beginnings.
